Call me M. Some years ago--never mind how long precisely, though likely longer than you think--having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me offline, I thought I would surf about the internet a little and see the fictional part of the world, and perhaps contribute in my own way. It is a way I have of driving off boredom and stimulating the mind. Whenever I find myself interested in a new book, movie, or television show; whenever I see untapped potential in characters written by others; whenever I find myself involuntarily pausing before bookstores, wondering how these people have publishing deals yet I do not; and especially whenever my muse gets such an upper hand of me, that it requires a strong moral principle to prevent me from skipping class and work to write their myriad adventures--then, I account it high time to get to writing as soon as I can. This is my substitute for pistol and ball. With a philosophical flourish Cato throws himself upon his sword; I quietly take to the pen. There is nothing surprising in this. If they but knew it, almost all men in their degree, some time or other, cherish very nearly the same feelings towards characters as I do.
Me, Interrupted is my home on the web. I'm M, also known as Me Interrupted, and formerly known as Kari Jo, Girl Friday, and Holly. Here you'll find my fiction, and art (mostly Livejournal icons) of a fannish nature. Most of this is centered around Joss Whedon's show "Firefly," and it's sequel movie Serenity, though I dabble in other fandoms from time to time.
You'll also find info here on projects I'm working on, namely Firefly: The Virtual Seasons and links to stories and authors I love.

- 06.22.08 - I know it has been less than a year and a half since I updated. Eep. Added several new stories to the fiction and firefly fiction sections.
- 12.02.06 - Redesigned Meinterrupted.com: Version 1.1 Sam-n-Dean, featuring Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki as Dean and Sam Winchester, respectively. Also rearranged the Firefly Fiction section.
- 12.01.06 - Added three stories to the fiction section: "Could Be Miles," "Dreamland," and "Something in Red."
- 08.29.06 - Added seven stories to the fiction section, "Three-fold Utopian Dream," "Four Truths and a Lie," "All Come Down," "Liability," "Dance a Dream," "Moby Dick," and "Go."
- 05.23.06 - Added seannathan.mov to the downloads section.
- 05.19.06 - Me Interrupted moved to its own domain, Meinterrupted.com. Also redesigned the site, featuring Summer Glau again.

- 04.30.06 - Added nine stories to the fiction page, as well as links to the livejournal entries for each fic.
- 03.27.06 - Added four Firefly drabbles and one story to the fiction page.
- 03.02.06 - Added five stories to the fiction page and added a form to the contact page.
- 12.23.05 - Added counters to each fiction page. Because I'm nosy like that.
- 12.14.05 - Added two new stories to the X-Men section of fiction: Fried Chicken and Words Unsaid. Also updated the me page and added a link to my FFVS project on the site page. More icons are coming soon to an art page near you.
- 12.04.05 - Joined some more fanilstings. All are on the site page. Also updated the contact page with some contact info. Kind of useful, eh?
- 12.03.05 - Added a non-fiction section.
- 12.02.05 - Updated site page. Added 20 fanlistings, and one new affiliate.
- 12.01.05 - meinterrupted.populli.net goes up. Layout version 1.0 (Unstoppable) features Summer Glau as River Tam.
